Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last term of junior high. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers, Gregory is her brother who is older and Evan is her younger. When she was nine till 16, she started working in the industry of entertainment via modelling. Ron Stetson trained her in the methods of acting taught by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the actors that received this training. Her first acting role came from Beverly Hills 90210. This required her moving out in Los Angeles. The first film she appeared in was Johnny Mnemonic. She did every stunt in the movie, and it established her as an athlete actor. The talent agent she worked with also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able to score a recurring role on Friends.
