Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. The most well-known of her roles is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Series. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting during Preparatory School prior to her family's move to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and pursued a degree in theater in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna began her professional career in Chicago-area theatres for several years. Her next move was to film and television. Anna's debut role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. The actress continued to make appearances as the guest on a few TV shows and movies, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue till the latter part of the 90's when she was cast on a regular basis in The Practice as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was her role in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film and other films have also featured her. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn was a character in the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days that was released in 2022. Breaking Bad's story is often about the relationship of Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The straining relationship and its eventual ending is reminiscent of the last years of Walter White's life.
