Jamie Colby

Colby, National News Anchor and correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July of 2003. Prior to the move to FOX News Channel, Colby was a correspondent for CNN and worked as anchor and reporter at CBS News including anchor fill-in of CBS' Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby has a degree in law in law from the University California and legally licensed in New York, California Florida, as well as District of Columbia. In 2002, she received the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her reporting on the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Colby also received the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000 as well as the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her an "Rising News-Show Star to Be Watching". Colby is an attorney and, as well as her work as a journalist, also worked for more than 10 years in private practice. Her law practice began working for a Hollywood entertainment business that brought her on The Tonight Show. She was 22 when she joined the show. Colby worked as a reporter as well as host on Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal for NBC alongside him as well as during his divorce. Colby was a Fox Business reporter and host who has reported on Strange Inheritance since the beginning of January.
