Sundar Pichai-1-1024x630Buffett declared that he intended to donate more than 80 percent of his assets to foundations that support charitable causes; in 2020, he increased that percentage to a whopping 99 percent. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation was the primary beneficiary. It was created by Bill Gates, Microsoft founder as well as his wife Melinda. They focused on world health and education. Bill and Buffett have been friends since the early 1990s. Other organizations that received donations included those run by Buffett's three children as well as the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, named for his late wife, and was focused on women's reproductive rights and funded college scholarship programmes.
